Professional photographs are known for their creativity and eye for detail. One Japanese photographer is trending because of his skill of taking portraits to new levels. Haruhiko Kawaguchi, or “Hal” as he is known, has photographed hundreds of strangers vacuum-sealed in plastic bags.
His goal behind what seems to be an extraordinary deed is to capture the one human emotion everyone can relate to, love. This Tokyo native gathers his muse from underground clubs and bars around the city. Since he has started, he has found that couples are somewhat reluctant at first, mostly because of the claustrophobia and anxiety from being sealed in a plastic bag, but ultimately enjoy being a part in the artful masterpieces.
