5. Remove Crayon or Marker From the Walls
While you’d love to praise your children for being creative and letting you cook dinner, it can be unnerving when they are a little too quiet because you know they’re up to no good.
When you discover that their quiet time was actually time to doodle on the wall with crayons or markers, don’t get too angry! Just whip out the can of WD-40 and spray it on top of the art. Within a few minutes the crayon should lift right off.
If this doesn’t work, spray a square of paper towel and stick it to the offending doodle. Wait a few minutes and remove the paper towel. Then just rub the area with a lint-free rag.
6. Clean Tile and Grout
Tile floors and the grout can be a pain to keep clean, especially if you’re on the clumsy side. Should your tiles and grout get mucked up by paint, nail polish, mascara, or scuff marks, you can get rid of all that with… You guessed it, WD-40!
All you need to do is spray the areas with the lubricant and wipe away with a clean cloth. You can even spray the grout to remove any built up gunk or grime. When you’re all finished, simply clean the area with warm soap water.
